Deborah de Graaff is not only known for her successful career as a chamber music recitalist, concerto soloist and recording artist for the ABC, but also as an innovative pedagogue and academic. Both her recitals and conservatoire teaching have taken her throughout Australia, Asia and the United Kingdom. Working with students of all ages, Deborah’s teachings combine the latest music psychology research with innovative creative practice skills. Her lessons and tutorials engage students towards self-sufficiency in interactive and stimulating self-directed learning, offering unique strategies in efficient practice techniques and musical imagination. She was awarded the AMEB Certificate of Distinction in 2016 - Top 5 result in the Category of Most Outstanding Private Teacher Grade 7 to Licentiate (April 2017).
